How Ledger Live protects your keys

The security model separates the user interface (Ledger Live) from the private keys, which are generated and stored only on the Ledger device. When a transaction is requested, the app creates an unsigned transaction and sends it to your hardware wallet. The wallet displays transaction details and requires you to manually approve via buttons or touch interface before the signature is generated. Getting started
